WARNING ISSUED BY MARTIN CJ MONGIELLO: I regret to say that Hazel Herrington told me on the phone that she wanted nothing to do with America due to her church rules against LGBTQIA and the laws of our country. She stated her private church beliefs superseded all business work worldwide and that, for these reasons with her one particular Bible (out of the current 513 versions printed), several factors in that version would now be imposed across the world in all of her business dealings as she instituted her private religious beliefs on everyone.
We had contracted with her to produce a magazine which was completed with our help, but due to her new, STRONG RELIGIOUS BELIEFS, we decided to honor and respect them. She additionally told us in the United States Presidential Service Center (USPSC) that she would refund numerous monies paid by myself, Patricia Freudenberg, work done by Fara Wan Ahmed, and other women by June 18th of 2021 which we never heard from her again. Later she stated she had changed her mind and would not refund anyone's money for her I AM WOMAN magazine that she would do the magazine and run the ads and keep the cash.
It was widely reported by her across six continents that she was leaving the internet and would cease posting photos of herself smiling and offering advice to everyone about how to lead their lives and businesses. I often, as her mentor, warned her of the idolatry and therapeutic mania in seeking LIKES. She additionally informed me the reason she was departing the USPSC was that she was broke and had moved in with her mother. She had taken the thousands of dollars made publishing our magazine all for herself - we received nothing. And we spent over 200 hours teaching her graphic design, website building, book publishing, and magazine layout. I also paid for my ads of $100.00 each, with my wife, to try and help her.
She stated it had been a long eight years of boasting about herself across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more, and due to her personal church beliefs was leaving the web to get a simple job and spend time with her daughter and STOP WORKING all over the internet. We had only known her for about eight months. She desired to command and demand between $800 and $1500 per week due to her perceived stature in society and work on the internet. As we were not interested in hiring her full-time, I checked around with Panda, Cory, Patti, Nuzee, and several people about hiring her at this rate, and no one could facilitate the cash weekly. As she stated, she was done with the internet and web - how could I, as her mentor, say anything? When she told me it was all over due to her personal Bible beliefs - how could Stormy and I say anything? We only said goodbye 👋 😔 😪 and well wishes in her church and private life. Despite the fact she was trying to become an Australian citizen, she ordered that she would never abide by the United Nations treaties with that country regarding several religious issues.
We find it sickening, sinful, and distasteful that she has now reappeared claiming to teach others about America and other forms of falsehood, fraud, and taking money as these are fake and fraudulent being concentric on supposedly being a business success story many of us in the USPSC know that we were used, walked on in lies, and abused.
FAKE MAP LISTING REMOVED: A legal filing with Google has removed a fraudulent listing by an African organization named Grand Triangle, Inc. which illegally and without our permission, claimed the United States Presidential Service Center (USPSC) was affiliated with them. They had been warned to immediately remove false information on their website about supposedly being involved with the USPSC at:
www dot grandtriangleinc dot org
Their claims of using our building address in America on Google Maps have been addressed, and they have been removed from Google Maps. We herein warn all students across Africa who may be duped, taken advantage of, or ripped off by this company that we have nothing to do with them and do not support them. We were never asked about such and have no relationship with them.
Martin Mongiello, MBA, MA, MCFE, Chair of the Board of Trustees for the USPSC
In April of 2009, having spent almost ten years inspecting colleges and universities at no charge, Martin CJ Mongiello examined Mountain State University as part of the American Culinary Federation (ACF) re-accreditation team and listened to the team leader, Candice Childers, inform attorney Roslyn Clark Artis that the university would not be recommended for re-accreditation.
Mr. Mongiello questioned numerous items, including a one-time payment of 1.8 million dollars to Dr. Charles H. Polk (featured in the photo of the bronze statue) and his annual salary of $450,000.00, as well as several inconsistencies in the culinary arts program billed as a national culinary arts institute. Interviews with students (that are required) revealed further possible criminal and civil offenses. Leonard G. Bailey II, CEC, had picked up chef Mongiello before the inspection at the airport, complained bitterly about how bad the university was, and was caught during the inspection with deficiencies noted in the reports. Later, when he found out they had lost their accreditation - he decided to lie and commit falsehoods against the ethics of the ACF guidelines. Ms. Childers became fearful for her job when she was threatened by the ACF and the university so she attempted to believe the lies about everything occurring and hope it would all go away by doing so.
Mr. Mongiello warned Ms. Artis and Childers that if what he suspected was accurate and the university was breaking the law and ripping off students that he would ensure their airplane was sold off, all assets liquidated, the university was closed, President Polk fired, and the entire campus could lose its accreditation. Ms. Artis replied, "no cook is going to beat a dozen+ attorneys or touch this university!" The smirk on her face of arrogance was one never to be forgotten. Mr. Mongiello informed her that she was not going to beat 50,000 alumni members of the White House Military Office and six presidents of the United States of America and their foundations.
"On January 19, 2012, Dr. Jerry Ice, former Chairman of Mountain State University's Board of Trustees, announced the termination of Polk's employment as president of Mountain State University." Beckley Register-Herald. Retrieved January 15, 2016. Polk and MSU's Board of Trustees were named as defendants in over 300 lawsuits arising out of the loss of the university's accreditation.
"On June 28, 2012, the Higher Learning Commission, the regional accrediting authority for the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, withdrew the accreditation of Mountain State University, effective August 27, 2012. The date was subsequently extended until December 31, 2012, to allow the university to 'teach out' those students close to graduation. On August 6, 2012, MSU's Board of Trustees formally appealed the withdrawal of MSU's accreditation with the Higher Learning Commission. On December 18, 2012, the Appeals Panel voted to sustain the Commission's action. MSU's regional accreditation terminated on December 31, 2012. All degrees conferred by MSU on or before this date are valid and are fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. MSU closed effective January 1, 2013. In May 2014, the Mountain State University Board of Trustees filed a lawsuit against the Higher Learning Commission seeking to restore the university's accreditation. In 2017, the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia granted the Higher Learning Commission's Motion for Summary Judgment, effectively ending MSU's lawsuit in favor of the Higher Learning Commission. MSU's insurance company established an $8.5 million fund to compensate affected students and MSU liquidated its remaining assets (including all buildings and the airplane). The settlement was given preliminary court approval on October 6, 2014. Final court approval was given on March 9, 2015. MSU’s former Beckley campus was sold to West Virginia University. MSU ceased to exist as a legal entity on May 17, 2018." (Wikipedia)
Mr. Mongiello defended the student's rights and contributed to several of the lawsuits.
